Data controller

The controller of the data collected through this site is Isabeli Santiago (Porto Feminist Walks), Porto, Portugal. For any question about your personal data, contact [email protected].

What data we process

We only process the data you give us, and the minimum needed to reply to you:

• Booking or contact enquiries: your name, email and whatever you include in the form (which tour, date, group size, language and your message).
• Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email is handled by the Substack platform.
• Visit measurement: aggregate, anonymous statistics via Cloudflare Web Analytics — no cookies and no personal identification.

We do not process special categories of data and do not build profiles about you.

Purposes and legal basis

• Answering your enquiry and arranging the walk — pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Sending the newsletter — based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Improving the site — legitimate interest, using anonymous statistics only (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who has access to the data

We use service providers who process data on our behalf and only for the purposes above:

• Postmark — sending the form emails.
• Cloudflare — website hosting and visit measurement.
• Substack — running the newsletter.

If your enquiry concerns the Porto Feminist Tour, it may be shared with Maad Collective, who run that walk, solely to reply to you. We never sell your data or pass it to third parties for marketing.

International transfers

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). Where that is the case, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).

How long we keep data

We keep booking and contact enquiries for as long as needed to reply and arrange the walk, and at most 24 months after the last contact. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

At any time you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw consent. To do so, email [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — in Portugal, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.

We may update this policy when needed. The date it was last updated is shown at the top of the page.
